## Who he is
Frank Schwab is a non-executive director and strategic advisor based in Germany. He serves on the
Board of Directors of Gulf International Bank (Bahrain, since 2018) and the Supervisory Board of
Addiko Bank (Vienna, since 2020), and is a board representative for Saudi Arabia's Public Investment
Fund. He co-founded FinTech Forum and has reviewed more than 1,200 fintech business models. He was
CEO of Fidor TecS, one of Europe's first open-API banking platforms, and CEO of GIZS/paydirekt, the
German savings banks' payment venture. He spent 21 years at Deutsche Bank, ending as Director for
Strategy, Architecture and Innovation, and advised banks as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company.
